It has been theorized that the reason sasuke seems to have been unaffected by the after effects of omnipotence (removing all doubt and fully accepting the new reality) and still training boruto and fleeing the village with him, was due to Saradas mangekyou sharingan abilities, which manipulated his mind into accepting what she wanted him to. We know that in the anime Saradas sharingan awakens out of love instead of hate, as was the usual for her clan’s dojutsu and here comes my brainchild:
Since Sarada’s sharingan originally awakened out of love, could the Charm ability cause her to feel a deep enough emotion for her Mangkeyou Sharingan to awaken? I am theorizing that when she first met Eida, she was initially affected but soon awakened the MS out of the love she had for her, and also her manipulative ability that snapped her & Sumire out of it.
We have seen this phenomenon occur in the past when Kakashi originally awakened the MS initially when rin died, but consciously only awakened it vs Deidara. This would mean that you can acquire it at one time but actually gain access to it in another event, which is what happened with sasuke’s sharingan that he awakened in the massacre. If this theory were to be true, it would explain why she is immune to Charm and Omnipotence without an asspull reasoning, since we know that only the otsutsuki are immune to it, and she and sumire surely arent otsutsuki. This would also null the Gozu Tenno theories about sumire and whatever people though about Sarada being immune but i think this is what actually took place.
