The Humanization of Momoshiki

From chapter 75(Boruto: Naruto Next Gen), we know that Boruto and Momoshiki now share thoughts. It seems to go further than just being able to hear Momoshiki’s thoughts though because Boruto was able to use Momoshiki’s ability to see the future at the end of the chapter.

I would argue that it’s even a step further and “emotions” are now shared between them as well. I think it may have even be hinted at at one of the last panels where we see Momoshiki’s reaction to Boruto seeing the future.

A lot of people wondered if Momoshiki/Boruto would have a similar relationship to Kurama/Naruto. Most people thought this theory didn’t make a lot of sense because Momoshiki was innately different/more evil than Kurama was who was mainly just a victim of being used by shinobi. Momoshiki/Ohtsutsuki were just beings who saw humans as inferior life forms, so it wouldn’t really make sense for Momoshiki to start sympathizing with Boruto.

But if they do truly share emotions now, I think it would make sense that Momoshiki would now “understand” Boruto and could relate to him better now that he feels the same pain/sorrow/joy/etc that Boruto does. If Momoshiki does start to become “good”, this is probably the pathway that would lead to it.
