The Akebi Situation

So i’m trying to figure out exactly what Amado is trying to do here. So it seems that the karma process works this way. An Otsutsuki places a karma which begins extraction, then once the Otsutsuki dies they revive within that vessel good as new.

Isshiki had two vessels with one of them being at 100% while the other is at 80%. When the Otsutsuki dies, they revive in the complete vessel first. This sealed Kawaki’s karma away but it still remained dormant in his body. While Isshiki was desperately trying to place a karma, we noticed he needed physical contact and couldn’t just unseal it whenever he wanted to, nor did it unseal on it’s own and continued the process.

The fact the karma needed Isshiki to place another or atleast unseal what was already there says two things. Either You need a soul attached to the karma in order for it to work, or the karma just needs an activation in order to work on it’s own. This is very important…

Either…the karma uses the soul as a blueprint to transform the body into the otsutsuki, or all the genetic history and make up is already inside the karma and it just needs an activation, kinda like a handsign for ninjutsu in order to activate it and it just works on it’s own.

So if the karma needs a soul as a blueprint, then Abeki isn’t coming back and Kawaki’s soul will be used to overwrite Delta’s body 100%. Or Amado reconstructed the karma with ALL of Abeki’s genetic data and she will 100% overwrite Delta. Here comes the unknown. The karma only lets the Otsutsuki revive if the original dies. If the soul blueprint theory is correct, then Kawaki will have to die and then Kawaki will revive. Simple as that. If the karma is completely made of Abeki’s genetic make up, then it would need Kawaki to activate it to start the process having the karma work on it’s own. Problem is we won’t know what would happen if Kawaki dies. I think this is the unknown Amado is betting on. It’s possible the karma just doesn’t work this way at all.

It’s possible, after the extraction, Amado is trying to confuse the karma into reviving Abeki through Kawaki’s death. Which is why he has a kill switch in Kawaki. Cause a death is required.
