This was my theory from January 8th 2023.
I totally believe Sarada will end up fighting Sumire. It doesn’t have to be soon but they both have a connection and it’s Boruto. Most of you can agree that Boruto likes Sumire or it is a common conspiracy that they would end up together, and we all can see them together. Maybe if Boruto goes rogue and becomes the most wanted in the bingo book he would have a connection or meeting with Sumire that connects them. In chapter 76 we see Sarada in bed with Eida & Sumire. Eida asks Sarada what she thinks about Boruto. Sarada gets excited and yelps “HUH? BORUTO?!” and proceeds to tell Eida her heart can’t stop pounding while shes blushing. Eida thinks it’s her charm but Sarada confirms that Eidas charm isn’t working for her. We have seen other occasions where Sarada blushes with Boruto in mind. So if Boruto likes Sumire and tries to connect with her but Sarada likes Boruto then we have a conflict. I think it would be so badass to see Sarada fight against Sumire in a bloody intense battle. This would be fitting for something right before the timeskip or maybe after depending if everyone is still alive and around.
Now it’s October 1st 2024 and to add onto my theory
I also believe there was foreshadowing with Chapter 76 of Next Gen where Sumire, Eida, and Sarada are in the bed together and claim friendship while Sarada and Sumire were not effected by Eida. Eida could potentially also fight for Borutos attention as she’s showed remarks for Boruto which will give him a chance to use Omnipotence. Is a three-way battle between the girls a potential foreshadow from chapter 76? What do you think? Would this end up being a top 5 fight in the Boruto series?
