So what happens in the timeskip? If it’s as I predicted or similar to what i’ve predicted, then Naruto will be dead and the village will be a much distress even if Kakashi takes back the mantle. See, the reason why I believe Kawaki will kill Naruto is because we have been introduced to a new method of bringing people back to life. Amado preserved Abeki’s brain into a hard drive, cloned her body in the form of Delta, and then reconstructed Kawaki’s karma. And the thing is…Kawaki heard this story just like everyone else did. So if there was a case where Kawaki would have to kill Naruto for the sake of keeping him safe or reviving him later, he has this very option now that Amado has presented to us.
Kawaki could also make the conclusion that if the village believes Naruto is dead, and Kakashi takes over. everyone wins. Villagers needs to stop relying on Naruto and panicking when he’s gone, Sarada could eventually take over, Naruto can be released of the burden of the village’s expectations, and Kawaki gets to be with his father. Thing is Kawaki doesn’t understand why Naruto would allow himself to die for the sake of the village. He doesn’t understand that will of fire which everyone would clearly try conveying to him, but he wouldn’t listen. He’s not a ninja and he doesn’t understand. Hearing the villager in panic however, and if Code or Borushiki causes more trouble, things will fall into further chaos. People will curse Naruto for not being around to keep them safe, which will throw Kawaki into further confusion and eventually rage. Why are these people so ungrateful? Hasn’t Naruto been used enough by them? Not only was he their jinchuriki, but now he’s died for them and they aren’t satisfied? Kawaki will think these things and grow increasingly angerd with the concept of a “ninja” or “will of fire” thinking about the time he’s spent as jigen’s tool.
