This is a theory written by Drifting on 10/29/2022
Code’s a character that has many lows. As in he keeps losing everything around him. His family is an unknown but we can assume they are long gone. He’s lost to Boruto, Kawaki and Daemon. He lost the only woman he has had feelings for. He’s lost the only father figure he’s ever had. Code truly is the definition of the word “loser.” However, could all these failures be preparations for Code’s eventual up rise? Here’s my thoughts.
Code from what I can see, takes inspiration from 2 characters. Shigaraki from My hero academia and Obito from Shippuden. I will not spoil anything from My Hero in this theory, it’s just a brief reference. Those who know, will make the connections.
Both Obito and Code were entrusted the legacies and will’s of their mentor/masters. Obito taking on Madara’s Identity and incanting Project Tsukuyomi, while Code takes on Isshiki’s legacy through karma and aims to become an Otsutsuki god. Both plans revolving around the God Tree. Obito and Code also has a love interest. While Obito’s was more organic, but once sided. Code’s is the opposite, artificial, and also one sided. Both were given power by their mentor/masters. Obito with the Hashirama cells, Code with the karma. The Hashirama cells being on Obito’s right side of his body, while the karma spreads on Code’s left side.
Lastly their relationships with the protagonist and the deuteragonist. Obito didn’t hate Naruto, but had strong distasteful feelings on his view on life, cause those very feelings of asperations, high hopes and dreams were destroyed for him. Obito wanted to prove that those feelings were wrong, immature and flawed. Code hates Kawaki because Kawaki is taking away Code’s dreams right before his eyes. Naruto and Kawaki’s existences causes Code and Obito to question their own existences.
In conclusion, this can lead to Code rebuilding the Kara organization, obtaining Gods power and gain Eidas attention. All things he felt should come easy, but was meant to be earned.
Also to add. Obito possesses Hashirama cells and the sharigan. Which is Asura and Indra yet he can’t use either of their full powers. Susanoo or large enough chakra reserves to hold or awaken 2 rinnegan.
Code has the karma that both Boruto and Kawaki possesses, yet he also can’t use the full capabilities like chakra absorption or the otsutsukification.
Making both of them duds and false dualities to the main characters. And well Both has space time techniques as well.
