Let’s get straight to this!
Ok so remember the panel we’ve gotten in the previous chapter of what seems to be “Kawaki” going rogue. Well what if it isn’t Kawaki but instead Boruto (Momoshiki)
After Boruto seeing the vision he’s very confused and frightened by how dangerous his fate could potentially be for him and for the ones he cares for. That’ll frustrate Momoshiki as now Boruto has a glimpse of the upcoming fate and Momoshiki doesn’t want Boruto to know of it as Boruto might alter the future and Momoshiki’s plans.
Long story short Momoshiki quickly takes over Boruto’s body, as he did when fighting against code, but this time without horns or byakugan. He’ll simply just be Boruto. Now “Boruto” will start acting differently. Momoshiki will try smearing Boruto’s reputation . Everyone would think Boruto is acting up or he’s having a breakdown etc but only Kawaki knows the truth.
Now Momoshiki will attempt to go rogue as the more Boruto becomes alone the stronger Momoshiki’s control over his body would become. Momoshiki would eventually get stopped by Kawaki. Kawaki goes ahead and clashes with Boruto until Team 10 and Team 7 arrive. They’ll accuse Kawaki of trying to assassinate Boruto. Sarada and Mitsuki would go ahead and fight Kawaki causing Mitsuki to activate his sage mode . Shikadai slightly suspecting Boruto’s behaviour, Momoshiki would catch on and tries killing team 10. start fighting them. Shikadai being very confused at this point would think Boruto is willingly trying to go rogue and that’s when Shikadai would drop the “that’s not what friends do!” line.
Momoshiki could possibly kill team 10 at the end of this . Kawaki will eventually get the message through to Mitsuki and Sarada that Boruto isn’t really Boruto but it’s Momoshiki. He would catch them off guard and they’d start questioning him about it but Kawaki has no proof other than just heading back to Boruto and seeing for themselves. Finally that small battle would end and Sarada alongside the others would rush to Boruto to try and deny Kawaki’s claim and thats when they’ll stumble on Team 10’s gruesome scene.
